I came across this verse days ago,
and felt it's really important to have a strong foundation in God's kingdom.
Luke 6 : 46-49
46"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? 47I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. 48He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."
Buildings that doesn't have a strong foundation on ground,
collapse and is destroyed easily
It's the same when it comes to our relationship with God
and our desire of loving him more
If we want to stay firm in God's kingdom, we must have a strong foundation in Him
How? Put God's word into practice, pray, read the Word.
Not read for the sake of reading,
but read for the sake of understanding what God wants to tell us
read for the sake of listening to what God has to say
Yes really, exams are round the corner.
And this is the time when we'll neglect God often.
An example is myself.
But I promise I'll still spend time with God every single day despite how busy I am.
I don't wanna fail God again and again, and don't repent at all
Talk is cheap, action is gold! :D
