i just watched this show called 'Moment of Truth'its a tv show where contestants answer a series of 21 increasingly personal and embarrassing questions to receive cash prizes.
they were strapped to a lie detector when they answer the questions.
if their answer to the question is false, they will lose all the money, the more questions to answer truthfully, the more money you get.
however, you will risk breaking your friendships and relationships with your loved ones.
what's more, your loved ones will be there witnessing you answering those questions, you may even see them breaking down as you reveal your deep thoughts and secrets that you will never want them to know.
the questions they get are madness.
like just now there's one where the girl was asked "have you ever taken naked pictures of yourself and send it to a magazine" and "will you be upset if you were to look like your mother at her age?", her answer was 'yes' and her mum was sitting right there!
omgosh!
this show set me thinking as i was bathing.
we all have thoughts and secrets we don't want anyone to ever know, fearing of how your friends and family will look at you, or fearing your relationship with them will go down the drain.
what will we do if all that thoughts and secrets were flashed on the screen in front of everyone to see?
this leads to me thinking, is there anything we've been hiding from everyone? even God?
God knows everything, even our thoughts. we should surrender such thoughts and repent instead of trying to hide it from Him. no matter how hard you try, He still knows.
confess and repent, rather than letting it haunt us and snowball until one day we can no longer take it.
let's all take some time to reflect on our life, is there such thoughts or secrets which we havent surrendered to God? if there is, let it go. don't hide.
ps. you guys should try watching this show. it so totally rocks!
