just had mass shepherding just now.
the teaching taught by denise had been taught to me for around 3 times already,
but each time, God never fails to speak to me something new.
this is what i learnt,

firstly...
why am i serving God?
is it because everyone is serving and i'm just following?
is it to gain people's approval/attention?
is it because we think that by serving God, we can gain more of His blessings?
why?
i think we need to constantly ask ourselves this question, to make sure what we know why we're doing what we're doing.
we need to know why we're working so hard for God - because we love Him
Love should be the reason why we're serving God.

we often fall, but we need to learn to stand back up
if we serve God for the sake of it, then when we fall, we will start to think that serving God is pointless.
all of us need to rededicate our life over and over again to God
sometimes when God bless us, we kind of expect it, because we lost the thanksgiving heart that we should have when we expect God to bless us.
its like, God becomes a blessing machine in our life.
whenever you pray, and God bless, you may think like "oh, its expected de"
but we shouldnt.
remember how you felt as a new believer when God blessed you with even the smallest things?
you start thanking God, and get all excited when you shared that testimony.
that should be the way we're feeling even now after serving God for so long.
take some time to renew your relationship with God, remember the good o' times.
