hey, just had a scary and weird dream.
i seldom have scary dreams nowadays, but weird dreams still happen frequently.
maybe because i'm weird.
anyway, that's not the point.

i dreamt of our world being a world without God
that God didnt exist at all
we all know God is the source of all good things, and since in my dream, God didn't exist, the world didnt know right from wrong, and no one had a conscience to bug us when we're doing something wrong.
chaos was all around. no one had a purpose.
people were stealing like nobody's business, running around murdering people just for the sake of it. what's worse, no one stopped them.
even if you don't wanna do all those evil deeds, you will feel pressurised because everyone is doing it and you'll be the only one not doing.
in my dream, i was the only one who knows all these are wrong, but i didn't know there was a God. [don't know why]
due to being pressurised by friends and people around me, though i was scared, i joined them in doing evil.

our sinful nature will overule us if there is no God.
[Rom 7:15-25]
but because of God, we are saved from our sinful and evil nature,
and we can stomp them under our feet.
we have an awesome God.

God, thank you that you exist in our lives, freeing us from the slavery of sin. help me to overcome temptations and sins. i want to grow more like you, and because of you, i have a purpose in life. i want to be secure that what i'm doing now is right in your eyes and is what you have set apart for me. in Jesus' name, amen!
