God really spoke to me druing my personal worship just now.
wasn't really doing well these past few weeks, i didnt really notice till recently when all the symptoms of spiritual dryness showed in my life.
oh man!
anyway, i had my retreat le, cried out to God, now i feel all refreshed and ready to continue my journey with God.
yeah!
this is what God spoke to me. [got illustrations]
yup, so now we're on our journey with God, going where God wants us to go, choosing God's path.
but sometimes, along the way, obstacles and our own sins will block the way, causing us to be stuck and we can't move on.
so we have 3 choices to choose from.1. we do nothing and just let things be.
2. we make a detour and choose to go our own way
3. we let God come and take the barrier away for us, letting us continue on with our journey with God.
yeah!this involves us in letting go and letting God.
by letting go of our sins, our material wealth, our life, it removes the barrier away from the right path - God's path. without letting go, we'll just be stuck in the same position. so let go, repent, commit you life to Him. He will forgive and help you throughout the journeys, taking away every barrier along the way.
as i was reading the Bible, i came across this verse. its the first verse of the chapter i'm suppose to read.
Psalm 32:1-5
1 Blessed is he
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
2 Blessed is the man
whose sin the LORD does not count against him
and in whose spirit is no deceit.
3 When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
4 For day and night
your hand was heavy upon me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer.
Selah
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, "I will confess
my transgressions to the LORD "—
and you forgave
the guilt of my sin.
Selah
yes man!
i believe all of us have some areas or sins in our life that causes us to feel guilty and condemned.
God doesn't care about how many sins we've committed, but about how many we've repented.
when we repent, He will forget and cover those sins up. yay!
i feel so refreshed by God!
whoo!
time to chiong!
love, jade
